If your aura had animal characteristics, which creature would represent your energy best? Are you secretly a pegasus, and if we could see your invisible field of truth would we see wings and a horse’s head? Could you fly away at a moments notice, but choose not to so that you can fit in better amongst the humans on this weird little planet?

Or are you secretly a sly and clever cat, running the internet with your telepathic powers and taking over the world one human at a time? You know the ways of mankind, and you have enslaved most of them to the point where they will carry out your bidding without ever even suspecting they are being manipulated. They feed you on command, practically going broke in the meantime, and hand clean your poo from a box they are willing to live with even though it smells like exactly what it is, just so they can protect you from the great outdoors that could ruffle your fluffy fur.

Maybe your aura is a bear, filling every room you enter with a magnetic force far beyond your apparent size. People get knocked over in a ten foot radius as you walk down the street, cowering before you without even knowing why. When your boss wants you to stay late on the weekend, all you have to do is give him one look, letting him see into your true bear nature, and he changes his mind. Maybe he can get the cat to do it, if the cat feels like it and has nothing better to do. But probably the cat will just ignore him and take a nap instead. Until 3 AM, at which time she will jump on someone’s face with full claws.
