The range of human personality that exists on planet earth is nothing short of stunning. Considering we all evolved from a common source so long ago, it is incredible to think about how much genetic diversity has arisen since. How could so much divergence have happened in such a relatively short period of time? Human beings have only been on this planet for two hundred thousand years, which is nothing compared to the 4.6 billion years the earth has been flying around, or the estimated 13.8 billion years age of the universe.
With the interconnectivity of the modern world, the range of human personality is widening exponentially. Thanks to connective technologies, the prime example being the internet, new niches are being born every second where like-minded people can come together and develop their own unique culture. This, in turn, drives the development and diversification of human culture and the expression of our potential as a species. Who knows where the future will lead as we continue into unknown waters of the collective human experience.
