VIDEO: Donald Trump Tried To Do A Photo Shoot With A Bald Eagle. But The Eagle Had Other Plans!

Uncle Sam is not a fan of Donald Trump. That much is clear after video of the 2016 presidential hopeful appeared online showing him taking part in a photoshoot for TIME Magazine. The shoot was taking place in The Donald’s office, which is located on the 26th floor of Trump Tower and overlooks Central Park in New York City. It was against this sweeping city backdrop that Trump was attempting to pose with Uncle Sam, who happens to be a 27 year old male bald eagle. However, the bird was having none of it and angrily flapped in protest when a handler attempted to place him on Trump’s wrist for a picture. All that struggling and flapping eventually led to Trump’s trademark hair getting whapped out place, causing him to have to fix it and ask how it looked.

Later on during the shoot, when Trump was sitting behind his desk and posing next to Uncle Sam, he made the mistake to reach out towards the bird. The eagle, already on high alert, immediately snapped at him even though Trump was just reaching for aspirin and not trying to touch the bird in any way. After that it appeared they had both had enough for the day and things wrapped up quickly.

It seems as if Trump knew he was in for a fight because at he beginning of the clip he can be heard saying “we better go fast here.” Maybe his apprehension at holding the eagle so close to his hair and face caused him to put off bad vibes that the animal instinctively picked up on. After all, bald eagles have razor sharp beaks and talons that they use to tear their prey to shreds with. Thus, his fears towards potentially being harmed by the eagle wouldn’t be unfounded, unlike other concerns that he has recently expressed. Nevertheless, Trump was finally put securely in his place by none other than the symbol of freedom and America itself, our national bird, the beautiful bald eagle. And the fact the bird was named Uncle Sam just makes it all the more ironic.
