Bulldogs are among the most popular dog breeds in the world. In America alone they rank fifth among pet dogs according to the American Kennel Club’s 2013 dog registration numbers. Their cute, wrinkly faces with the adorable pushed in noses are somewhat iconic, being featured as the mascots of many college and universities across the country. With their friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive nature it’s easy to see why Bulldogs are so cherished and beloved by countless people.
Like all dogs, Bulldogs need regular exercise and stimulation to keep them healthy and active. Short walks and fun interactive playtime sessions can help them to maintain an ideal weight and muscle tone. Many people assume Bulldogs are lazy because of their short, stout build and wrinkly folded skin, but that’s often not the case. Lots of them absolutely love being active and a few even enjoy working out, like the adorable English Bulldog in this video.
Even though working out can be incredibly boring for many of us, and running on a treadmill while staring straight ahead is just plain excruciating, this puppy has found a way to make it look like a whole lot of fun. The extremely excited tan and white ball of joy looks like he’s having the time of his life while trying out a treadmill. He leaps and bounds on the belt and manages to keep up with it without tripping or flying off.
