If you’re a cat person, then you have to watch this adorable video of a sleeping cat’s strange reaction to his owner’s cough! It’s short, sweet, and just the right thing that will put you in a good mood after a long, hard, serious day.
Even though it looks like the sleepy gray tabby cat is totally passed out and completely oblivious to the outside world, some things are still getting through to him. His owner noticed that whenever he coughed, or even made a fake coughing noise, his kitty would react to it in the weirdest possible way. As you can see and hear, the cat makes the funniest sounding noises that are hard to describe. It sounds as if he’s half meowing, half chirping, and maybe even kind of clucking or something like a chicken, as some people have described it.
This is one of those little things that just make us love our furry, precious felines even more! Apparently the handsome tabby does this often because according to the cat’s owner, who goes by the name pavelsutyrin, “This happens almost every time the cat sleeps or rests. He also responds in the same way to sneezing. No, I do not pull his tail behind the scenes!” What a cool cat and thoughtful owner to share this cat-quirk with the rest of the world.
